I haven’t heard of this before. Anyway, it’s not true. I even went to Europe less than a year later with the same passport. Countries should not refuse entry to someone purely based on where they’ve been to (unless there was an epidemic there or something like that)

hi marlon, pinoys can theoretically get a visa-on-arrival in Iran. However, I wanted to be safe so I had a travel agent in Iran pre-apply for me. I got my visa once I landed in Iran. This VOA facility is available for certain major airports only like Tehran, Esfahan, Shiraz, Tabriz and Mashhad.

Iran is quite easy to enter for non-Americans. I am from the Philippines, got my visa in a week.
